Kate's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
I am a visionary; I have hope that one day we will live in a world without cancer, but we need your help to save lives!
This year, I’m so excited to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise money for brave individuals battling cancer.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
- Funds cutting-edge research in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine, making real differences in patients' lives!
- Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and their families, including personalized, one-on-one help, and assistance with finding and joining clinical trials.
- Rallies thousands of advocates to push for policy changes that speed up the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
Please consider joining this fight to save lives by making a donation. All donations, big or small, make a differnece; they are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible! Please visit my website and share my link with others who may also want to be apart of this amazing cause!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure that this generation is the last to suffer from cancer!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

Thank you Kate for working on this. During Vietnam I worked at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant and was exposed to DNT and was lucky to survive later lymphoma.

Donation in memory of my dad, who battled multiple myeloma for many years. While not strictly a leukemia or lymphoma, it is a type of blood cancer that also develops in the bone marrow, and so may share some common genetic or environmental triggers. Thanks for pursuing this very worthy cause!!

My Mother battled leukemia in 1994 which nearly ended her life. She was chosen as a patient for an experimental drug, All-trans retinoic acid, which proved to bring her into remission. She has been cancer free for close to 30 years, due to treatment that was still in the experimental stage.

Kate, Thank you for raising donations for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am thankful to have had the honor of participating in fourteen Team in Training Detroit Free Press Marathon events to raise donations for LLS in memory of my mom Cathy Rehfus and in honor of so many others battling blood related cancers. I have seen first had how donations to the LLS have supported the development of many groundbreaking advances in treatment. Thank you for making a difference by participating as a Student Visionary candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!! Wishing you all the best!
